I would certainly saturate them in cool water prior to I went to sleep to reduce the discomfort a little bit, and the pain was constantly gone when I awoke. I struck a period of years in which I was incapable to do much salsa dancing. And then, suddenly, a couple of years later I began experiencing that same discomfort in the rounds of my feet but also for no obvious factor. I couldn't attribute it to dancing or doing anything laborious on my feet; usually it shows up in the middle of the night as I lie in bed!
